Hi,
I am new to Colorado Springs, my husband is with SFG(B), we've been here almost 2 months now. I have been hoping to meet some mom's. I am a stay at home mom, my son is a little over two years old. First time away from my family and struggling with it.

It's nice to meet you, what area of town are you on? Were on the Northeast end by Woodmen and Austin Bluffs.
Do you know of many Mom's groups that meet around town. It being my first time away I'm having a hard time meeting people. I don't really know where to begin.
Oh, my son's name it Nicholas by the way.

I used to live on that end. Now I'm down by base. I do have two friends, also from group, that live up that way. As far as mom's groups here, I know there's a hiking group, I think called Colorado Mountain Mamas. It used to be free but now has an annual membership. I'm always up for making my own group and would be willing to pretty much meet anywhere for coffee, lunch, walks, hikes etc.... I'm actually going to be signing my son (Caden) up for swim courses at the Manitou pool this summer. (Alot of the Springs public pools got shutdown due to lack of funding). oh, my email: hollyjordana@yahoo.com :o)

I would love to meet for coffee or hiking some time. I haven't put my son into any kind of day care yet and we have no babysitters so I have him with me pretty much all the time right now. When do those swim classes start? I would love to look into that. My email is mford4655@hotmail.com :-) I would love to meet up some time.
